Edition of Pulmonary Function Testing: A Practical Approach; I would strongly recommend it for use as a standard shelf reference text in the cardiopulmonary clinical laboratory as well as a text for the health care professions student studying entry-level pulmonary function diagnostic testing.

The practical approach taken with this text makes it user-friendly to the student learner and practicing clinician alike” Perry W. Sheppard, M.Ed., RRT-NPS, RPFT, RCP, Program Coordinator, Respiratory Therapy, Len B. School of Allied Health, Forsyth Technical Community College. “One nice thing about Wanger - it is easier to understand and has good illustrations. Wanger does try to make it more practical (as he says in the title.) I also like the self assessment questions and that he put the answers in the back of the book.

What is pulmonary function

I think it should be easy for the students to test themselves and check whether they are correctly answering. We do plan to adopt Wanger's PFT text.” Erin E. Davis MS, MEd, RRT-NPS, Clinical Coordinator - Director Clinical Education Program in Respiratory Care, Ochsner Health System. 'A complete explanation of PF equipment and testing along with case study applications.' Ed Anderson, MS, RRT, Seward County Community College. 'This is a terrific teaching tool. My Fellows refer to this text frequently.'
